Must complete Prosecuting Cybercrime I or equivalent.

The course lasts for four days, with eight hours each day. The course covers four main modules: A review of identification; collection, preservation, and examination of digital evidence. Advanced social media investigations and advanced dark web investigations. Forensics for prosecutors and cellular forensics for prosecutors. And preparing for the digital courtroom.

This 4-day course. Each module consists of morning and afternoon sessions, with a break in between and lunch included each day. Each module also includes a practical exercise and a case study.

To deepen understanding of advanced investigative techniques in cybercrime. To enhance skills in prosecuting complex cybercrime cases involving advanced technology and digital platforms. To update participants on the latest case law and statutory developments. 

Course Objectives:

• Review and reinforce knowledge of digital evidence handling.

• Master advanced investigative techniques in social media and dark web environments.

• Develop specialized skills in cellular and location-based forensics.

• Prepare participants for digital courtroom challenges and ethical considerations

Target Audience:
• Prosecutors and Legal professionals.
• Investigators with a desire to learn in the prosecution of digital forensics techniques.
• legal support staff who already have foundational knowledge in handling digital evidence and cybercrime cases.

Prerequisites:
• Completion of Prosecuting Cybercrime I (PC1) or equivalent
• Experience in cybercrime prosecution fundamentals,
• Including basic knowledge of digital forensics and
• Previous involvement in cybercrime cases

This two-part webinar will address the essential elements of effective writing, followed by tips and techniques for finding and writing grants. While each is designed to be standalone, taking the essentials of effective writing is a valuable precursor to the grant writing webinar. The two sessions are beneficial for law enforcement officers and associated administrative or support staff. You will improve and expand your skills in writing and researching, with an emphasis on grants.
