Transportation of Inmates

Description

Transportation of inmates has become a major part of a Correction Officer’s daily activities.  The safe transportation of inmates to and from a variety of locations requires knowledge and training.  This class will help you attain that knowledge and training.

Upon completion of this period of instruction, each participant will be knowledgeable and able to perform the following objectives:

Performance Objectives

  1. List (4) steps that must be completed before beginning a transport.
  2. List (2) safety objectives during transport.
  3. List (3) steps that must be completed after arriving at your destination.
  4. List (4) security issues that arise during possible emergency situations.
  5. Identify (thru case study) common security break downs and their solutions.

The LSAT 12- hour basic training webinar is presented in 4, three-hour blocks over two days. The class will start at 10:00a.m. EST and end at 5:00p.m. EST each day. You will get a 1-hour lunch break each day.
