Recruiting Minorities & Police Reform© considers the cry for reform, specifics of reform and benefits of reform alongside practices police agencies use to recruit, interview, train and retain staff representing the racial, ethnic and gender demographics of the community.

 

At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Develop interview questions to identify suitable and trainable police candidates
  • Identify hurdles to recruiting following protests of injustice
  • Identify non-traditional strategies for recruiting applicants from underrepresented groups within the community being policed.

The LSAT 12- hour basic training webinar is presented in 4, three-hour blocks over two days. The class will start at 10:00a.m. EST and end at 5:00p.m. EST each day. You will get a 1-hour lunch break each day.
