Course Description: This leadership course for law enforcement officers will
give insight on how to build a healthy culture within our departments. We believe creating this culture will increase retention rates, build momentum for executing departmental strategic plans, increase buy-in on change initiatives, and create an atmosphere that will promote unity of command. The course will share strategies on increasing trust and influence within our organizations. We believe that individuals move at the speed of trust. In this course we will study and analyze the top ten traits that successful leaders possess. We will identify law enforcement “momentum makers” and “momentum breakers”. The course will also share essential factors required in effective communication, when it comes to properly disseminating departmental information.
At the successful completion of this course, the participant will be able to
