This course provides leadership development training to future and current first-level and mid-level supervisors. The program provides the supervisors with knowledge, and skills that will enhance their ability to supervise, motivate, and evaluate officers and meet the unique challenges presented to a supervisor of a specialized police units.
The program provides training in areas including, taking over or starting a specialized unit, identifying high liability areas, operational planning, confidential source management, building your team, media relations, quality control techniques, and how to provide value for your department / agency.
