This module will cover information on terrorism readiness and active shooters will help attendees to better understand the following:
- Ideology (Sunni vs Shia, Muslim Brotherhood, Fundamentalist, etc.) and Motivation (heavenly motivation, earthly motivation) Dynamics of recruiting(indoctrination, suspicious signs, approaching the subject, etc.)
- Domestic Terrorist Groups, Ideology, Groups, Recruiting, History
- Active Shooter at the workplace, street, mall (early signs, how targets are selected)
- What to do in an active shooter event and if there is a hostage situation, dynamics between both
- The “Lone Wolf” terrorist phenomena, response to this
- Attacks against schools, selection and identifying possible suspects (possible scenarios, school security and weapons in schools)
- Proper Mindset/ Mental Readiness
